Public website data, kept deliberately limited.
JaySynthTV.com displays community information needed for public features such as leaderboards, clips, achievements and giveaway status. It does not expose the private operational data used by JaySynth AI.
Privacy at JaySynthTV
JaySynthTV.com and the JaySynth AI ecosystem are designed to expose only the information needed for public community features and owner-approved integrations. This policy explains how the public website and the JaySynth AI Social Publisher use and protect data.
Public website data
The site may display Discord/Twitch public display names, community XP and level, clip titles and clipper names, achievement names, aggregate community statistics, and public giveaway/stream status.
The public website does not publish Discord message content, private moderation data, account tokens, API secrets, email addresses, private AI conversations, or internal Discord IDs.
How community data is used
Community data is used to operate JaySynth HQ features such as XP, leaderboards, achievements, Twitch-linked participation, clip tracking and giveaways. The website receives a sanitised public response from a dedicated API rather than direct access to the private bot database.
JaySynth AI Social Publisher
JaySynth AI Social Publisher is an owner-only tool used to prepare and publish selected Twitch portrait clips to social platforms. A clip is never published to YouTube simply because it exists. The JaySynthTV owner must deliberately select the destination platform, review the generated metadata, and approve publishing.
Google and YouTube access
For YouTube publishing, JaySynth AI requests only the OAuth scope required to upload videos:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload
This authorization is used to upload owner-approved videos or Shorts and their associated title, description, tags, category and privacy setting to the authorised YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API.
JaySynth AI does not request the Google Account password and does not use this integration to access Gmail, contacts, browsing history, private messages or unrelated Google Account information.
How Google user data is used
When YouTube access is authorised, JaySynth AI may use the authorization to:
- obtain short-lived Google access tokens from a stored OAuth refresh token;
- upload an owner-selected portrait video clip to YouTube;
- send the owner-approved YouTube metadata required for that upload;
- receive the YouTube video ID and API response needed to determine whether publishing succeeded; and
- store the resulting YouTube video ID and/or URL as publishing history and to help prevent accidental duplicate uploads.
Social Publisher data
To prepare and track a social post, JaySynth AI may process the Twitch clip ID, clip title, clipper name, game/category, optional context supplied by the owner, generated social metadata, research-source URLs, selected destination platform, publishing status and resulting platform post IDs or URLs.
Non-Google clip metadata and owner-supplied context may be sent to OpenAI services to perform current web research and generate platform-specific draft metadata. Google OAuth credentials, refresh tokens and access tokens are not intentionally sent to OpenAI for this purpose.
Storage and security
Google OAuth client credentials and the YouTube refresh token are stored as server-side secrets in the private JaySynth AI hosting environment. They are not included in the public website and are not exposed to Discord community members.
Short-lived Google access tokens are generated server-side when required. Publishing history may be stored in the private JaySynth AI backend database to maintain workflow state, display publishing results and prevent duplicate posts.
Twitch portrait clip download URLs are temporary and are not intentionally retained in the JaySynth AI database. Video bytes used during an upload are not intentionally retained in that database after the publishing workflow.
Sharing and sale of data
JaySynth AI does not sell Google user data, does not use Google user data to create advertising profiles, and does not share Google OAuth credentials with Discord community members.
Data is shared only where necessary to provide the requested feature, such as sending an approved video and its metadata to YouTube when the owner chooses to publish, or where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the service from abuse or unauthorised access.
Google API Services User Data Policy
JaySynth AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Google user data obtained through YouTube OAuth is used only to provide or improve the owner-facing Social Publisher functionality described in this policy, for security purposes, or where otherwise permitted by Google's applicable policies.
Retention, revocation and deletion
The YouTube refresh token is retained only while the YouTube publishing integration remains authorised and required. The owner can revoke JaySynth AI's Google access at any time through Google Account security and third-party access settings.
Revoking Google access prevents future authorised uploads. It does not automatically delete videos that were already published to YouTube or non-Google publishing-history records already created by JaySynth AI.
Publishing records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide publishing history, prevent duplicate uploads, troubleshoot failures, maintain security records or meet legal obligations.
Cookies and browser storage
The website does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. It may use browser session storage briefly to cache public community data and reduce unnecessary API requests.
Third-party platforms
JaySynthTV and JaySynth AI can interact with services including Twitch, YouTube/Google, OpenAI and, when separately configured, TikTok, Instagram, X, Kick and Discord. Those services process data under their own privacy policies and terms.
Privacy and data requests
If you are a JaySynth HQ member and want to ask about data associated with your Discord account, contact the moderation team through the Discord server. Questions about the JaySynth AI Social Publisher or Google/YouTube authorisation can be directed through the official JaySynthTV contact/support details and channels.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when JaySynthTV, JaySynth AI or the Social Publisher changes, when additional platform integrations are enabled, or when legal/API requirements change.
